I earned a Bachelor of Graphic Design from NC State University College of Design, where the curriculum emphasized the importance of designing with a purpose. We studied user experience techniques and learned how to communicate complex ideas, building meaningful solutions that are both thoughtful and inclusive. Collaborative research and design projects were an integral part of my education at the College of Design. Sponsored studios exposed me to unique client-facing opportunities and challenges me to develop real-world solutions. These studios were interdisciplinary and included designers, engineers, developers and business professionals that collaborate on practical and meaningful projects in the studios.
