Process

Before beginning a website mockup, I perform thorough research on the client and their competitors to fully understand the business, industry, target audience and company goals in order to create a site that will help them create a good first impression with customers. From there, I’ll quickly sketch out a plan for the website that includes notes, thumbnails, and design ideas to create more engagement. Once I have a rough layout and direction for the design, I begin creating the assets needed to build the website including icons, trust badges, background textures, and branded images. After assembling the mockup on a website builder such as Websites360 or Wordpress, it is sent off for client approval.
